What does IPTV mean to me? The word IPTV means to me any internet video that is delivered over your internet connection. 

Most of you when you hear the word video broadcast you immediately think youtube? Right, yes that's one form of "IPTV", but I'm here to let you know of a lot more IPTV sites / services that are out there for you to get your tv fix. 

Here in Australia we are very limited in what we can get content-wise. For example, take the U.S show Game Of Thrones. It's the most downloaded show in Australia, because we Aussie's want shows like this the same day as the U.S. I'm here to tell you how you can watch these shows and a lot more for free without doing anything illegal.

Netflix, Stan, Presto, Quickflix,
Catchup tv services AUS:

ABC iview, SBS On Demand, Plus 7, 9 jumpin, tenplay.

These are the most known services by most Australians, as these services are built into most smart tvs. There are few big problems:

 

  1. These services are only catchup tv;
  2. These services don't have full tv series;
  3. They only have the last four episodes that aired on tv that month.
For people who want more content, what to watch via Netflix you can get the U.S Netflix or any version for that matter. You need to know a little bit about computers, but it's very easy. There is a great service called https://www.unblock-us.com/ . I started the unblock-us service on November 1st 2015 with a 7 day free trial. After the trial period I decided to pay for it: $4.99 per month or $49.90 for a year (U.S Dollars). A VPN (Virtual Private Network) service allows you to mask your computer's ID E.G you can use it to make it look like you're in the USA, England, China and more. Why would anyone want to do this? 
  1. To get access to more content;
  2. To hide your activity online & more.
 Ok so that's TV shows and movies covered for now. Sports fans, this one for you. There hasn't been much choice for us where we can get sport. It's still selection but there is more now than there was 3 or 4 years ago. I'll list some services below. All these services are paid, and use your internet connection, I'll mark the ones I use as well.
